Sedoz

Midazolam Injection BP

Sedoz
Description

Sedoz (Midazolam) is a short acting benzodiazepine with sedative-general anaesthetic properties. It can be used to produce sleepiness or drowsiness and to relieve anxiety before surgery or certain procedures. It can also be used to produce loss of consciousness before / during surgery, or in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Clinically well accepted, Midazolam (Sedoz) and Propofol (Profol), have a synergistic effect. Midazolam (Sedoz) works as a good premedication as well as a partner in Total Intravenous anesthesia, with Profol (Propofol).
